Beach vs. Indoor Volleyball : Court Sizes
Indoor courts are 18m x 9m, with a parallel attack line that is 3m from the center line. Back row players must stay behind this line when hitting the ball.
Beach courts are smaller--16m x 8m and there is no attack line. A player may hit the ball from anywhere on their side of the net. A smaller court ensures that the ball will stay live longer and rallies will be more entertaining. That's reason why the beach volley was more popular at the olimpics.
Beach court is smaller because instead of 6 people in the field (like indoor), there are only two of them.

Rotation of the players
While in the indoor volley all players have a specified position, and a exact place where they must be in the moment oponent hits the serve, in beach volley there are no such rules. Only rule about positions in beach volley is the sequence of serving – first serves the player No. one, then the No.2.

Balls
Indoor volleyballs are made of leather and are heavier than outdoor balls, so they are faster. But Mikasa is the top-ball-producer for both sports.
Beach volleyballs are softer, lighter and a bit bigger than indoor balls. The lighter weight allows them to float more in the air, allowing skilled and experienced players to use the weather to their advantage.
Official ball of the Association of Volleyball Professionals is the Wilson.

Scoring
First difference, in indoor volley game lasts until one team wins three sets (scoring goes to 25, or until one team wins two points more – for example, 28:26). This leeds to posibility that maximum number of sets coud be 5 sets (last one is played till 15, or until one team wins two points more – example, 19:17).
In beach volleyball, a match lasts untill one team wins two sets – and a set last until 21, or two points more than the oponent. Two sets wins the match, and the third tiebreaker set, if necessary, is also played to 15 points.
Every error means point for the oponent.
